Ever since I entered the business world almost 20 years ago I have recognized a significant gap between people and information technology. Throughout my career, I’ve often found myself navigating the uncharted territory of bringing an industry into the digital age. Trained in the user-experience discipline, software design and development was my first practical experience in identifying problems and building solutions. As my career has progressed, I have found great joy in addressing the challenges of mapping software solutions to complex business goals and shifting market opportunities.
From consulting for large multi-national corporations to founding startups, I have enjoyed every minute of my journey as a technology translator with titles and roles ranging as widely as the challenges I have faced.
