I specialize in the needs of growing, entrepreneurial companies. In particular, I help venture capitalists, angel investors, and entrepreneurs structure, negotiate and close funding rounds, I represent buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions, and I create advisory boards for my best and most entrepreneurial clients.
DeLancey Design offers a full range of design and marketing services. Jane has worked with over 150 clients on a variety of projects for clients representing a wide range of industries. Projects include full website development, brochures, corporate identities, trade show graphics, slide deck design, direct mail campaigns and e-newsletters.
Jane is a NEF Board Member and chair of the NEF Marketing Committee.
Her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is from the University of Michigan. She also studied at Art Center College of Design, Los Angeles, and California College of Arts in Oakland.
Don has been President of Servant Systems since 1994. Servant Systems is a Microsoft Partner focused on business operations with a specialization in the franchising industry. Don has a B.S. in Math and Astronomy from UM, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from UM, and an MBA from EMU.
Accomplished human resources leader with Fortune 100 companies as well as start-ups, non-profit and research organizations. Main focus is on leadership/organization development, leadership coaching and career counseling.
Helen Ewing is President of The Ewing Group, LLC a provider of startup and business consultant services. She is currently a Board Member and startup coach for New Enterprise Forum which helps entrepreneurs develop and hone their business pitch to investors. Helen serves as a startup mentor for Detroit Tech Town’s DTX launch boot camp which is a program that assists new startups with coaching using the ICore business model canvas. Helen's coaching activities include; New Enterprise Forum, SPARK, Michigan Growth Capital Symposium, Michigan Angel Fund, Tech Town Detroit, and first-round judge and mentor for the Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition. She has a 20+ year procurement career in manufacturing which includes management and senior roles in supply chain management for the automotive, consumer products and banking industries. She holds a MS degree in Industrial Technology and a BBA both from Eastern Michigan University.
Over 30 years of hands on experience in manufacturing operations and consulting services. Proven track record improving productivity, manufacturing process control and bottom line financial performance. Expertise in selecting and implementing a wide variety of management information systems. My project management skills are also useful for bringing in complex engineering projects on time and under budget.

Francis is currently the Managing Partner of Glorie Associates, a NEF board member and coach, and a mentor at Ann Arbor Sparks. Over 25 years successful executive and consulting experience in tech startups in Ann Arbor and Europe.
Lee Gorman is an insightful, results-oriented executive with over 25 years of diverse experience in strategic, business, and product planning, implementation, marketing and leadership. She has particular expertise in assisting start-up and early stage companies develop their businesses, and in coaching their founders and leaders in the business aspects of bringing their ideas to market.
Ms. Gorman has done extensive work for local non-profits and early-stage companies, including serving as Director of the Automotive Business for Coherix, Inc., and COO for WriteSteps, LLC. She now works with Ann Arbor SPARK’s Business Accelerator services to connect start-ups with the resources they need, and provides coaching through organizations including New Enterprise Forum (NEF) and Great Lakes Entrepreneurs Quest (GLEQ). In addition to being a frequent judge for business plan competitions, Lee enjoys mentoring entrepreneurs and others interested in small business and has done so through UM’s Center for Entrepreneurship, the Cleantech Open, and Shifting Gears.
Prior to establishing Barton Consulting Services, LLC, Ms. Gorman’s employment included being Chief Engineer, Town Car and Product Planning Director, Sport Utility Vehicles at Ford Motor Company; Manager, Strategic Planning at Allied Signal Automotive; and Consultant with The Carroll Group. She has also held various positions in finance, marketing, engineering, and program management.
Ms. Gorman holds both an MBA and a BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a BSME from Lawrence Technological University. Professional education included Ford’s Strategic Marketing Program at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Sarika is the Associate Director at the University of Michigan Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies (ZLI). In this role, she leads the development and execution of ZLI's student-oriented programs. She also coaches and mentors U-M student teams. Prior to joining ZLI, Sarika was the President & CEO of Dance Telephone, a group party game, the COO of V-teractive, an online gaming start-up, and a Senior Quantitative Research Associate at Cambridge Associates, an investment management firm. Sarika holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering and an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
